Would a Microsoft-Yahoo deal out Google Google?
Source: ComputerWorld
__________ February 1, 2008 (Computerworld) As Microsoft Corp. tries to take on search company Google Inc. for more advertising revenue by offering to acquire Yahoo Inc., a big question remains: Can Microsoft and Yahoo together best Google? |

No, and why do people keep calling it a search engine, THEIR NOT, Thier a WEB index you
think they'd know the difference. Yahoo's index sucks, MS's search sucks together they only suck less. Googles web search and spydering can't be beat thus far. I can make a post on DH and an 15 minutes to an hour its already listed on google search!

Never liked yahoo, I associate them with AOL really when it comes to content and search.
Microsoft should partner with Google if they don't want to lose money and keep their monopoly growing. |

It's a good time to be yahoo. Since google doesn't want microsoft to buy yahoo, google started pampering them. Now they're getting benefits from both bullies in the playground.
I personally will be glad when yahoo gets consumed. That's one more company offering the exact same products as everyone else, taken off the map. When it comes to communication over the web, I'm always routing for unification. Less toolbars, less im protocols, less freemails, blah blah blah. Hooray!
