Impact Acoustics 5-port HDMI Selector Switch Review @ I4U
Review: I4U
_______________ One of the biggest woes for many when it comes to their HDTV sets is the lack of enough HDMI inputs. It’s not uncommon for HDTV owners to have four or five HDMI input sources and even higher-end HDTVs typically only have three HDMI ports. If you have more HDMI devices that available HDMI ports, the Impact Acoustics 5-port HDMI Selector Switch might be just what you need. |

I Agree that HDTV need at least 2 HDMI inputs especially with all HD players going to HDMI for 1080P playback.
My system already has Satellite HD REceiver, Apple TV, PS3 and am adding a Notebook with HDMI video card and currently my 42 " LCD only has 2 HDMI inputs so I am also using a HDMI switch to enable connections to the HDTV players. |

What we need is more Component amplifiers that have a full massive switch of HDMI inputs and a single or 2 hdmi outputs... as well as a conversion system so that any RCA video, component video, s video input is automatically converted to be sent through the hdmi to the tv...
Then it's just a matter of plugging everything into the amp.. and then selecting the input on the amp to whatever you want without ever having to touch the tv.
