Why we must close the net - Elton John

Source: The Sun Online
___________
POP legend Sir Elton John wants the internet CLOSED DOWN.

Never one to keep his opinions to himself, the Rocket Man has waded into cyberspace with all guns blazing.

He claims it is destroying good music, saying: “The internet has stopped people from going out and being with each other, creating stuff."

“Instead they sit at home and make their own records, which is sometimes OK but it doesn’t bode well for long-term artistic vision."

Elton will change his mind again later.... he's just dwelling on the bad thoughts and while it is somewhat true, it's just as much completely absurd

Ms. Elton John should STFU, basically he's mad becouse thier competition
and he's looseing money to newer, better, more aretists?

"Elton, who turned 60 earlier this year, has admitted in the past that he is a bit
behind the times
. The Grammy award-winner was once quoted as saying: “
I am the biggest technophobe of all time."

no, looks he's afraid of the "unkown" as he admits to have no clue re the internet.
Maybe instead of shutting down the internet for 5 years. He should get on it for 5
years. so he can know whats hes talking about kinda

he does have a point about the quality of music, but that's mostly due to the labels pushing manufactured sh*t at us

He is right. Just look at all the bad music created by people working alone from the 1500s till early 20th century. How bad is that?
