When it comes to the world of CPU cooling we have a vast assortment of styles and performance levels available, ranging from the basic OEM heatsink and fan to more complex systems such as phase change components. Water cooling has always been a very good method of keeping CPU’s and GPU’s cooler than air, while maintaining an overall quieter noise level as well. The one problem with water cooling has been the level of experience needed to purchase, install and maintain a water cooling system. There are quite a few integrated kits on the market that take aim at making water cooling as simple as possible, the draw back behind a large majority of these systems is the lack of any real performance gain over the air cooling solution they are replacing. Today in the MTB Labs, we will be evaluation a new cooling solutiton from CoolIT Systems called the Freezone CPU Cooler.
