Azureus for Windows 2.5.0.0
Download: Fileforum (Open Source)
Thanks to BWX for the submission
_______________
Azureus is a Java based BitTorrent client that offers multiple torrent downloads, queuing/priority systems (on torrents and files), start/stop seeding options and instant access to numerous pieces of information about your torrents. It also features an embedded tracker that is easily set up and ready to use.
To use, rename the downloaded Azureus2xxx-Bxx.jar file to Azureus2.jar to replace your old jar in the Azureus program directory.

I've used Azureus for a couple of years now, and honestly it is the most useful feature rich bit torrent application I've ever used. It's user friendly, has innumerable options that one can tweak if so desired, and is so stable I have yet to have it crash, or cause a crash, on my system. I love it.

I've never used uTorrent, but I can't imagine it has the options Azureus has, not to mention all the plug-ins.
Maybe it uses less system recourses.. I guess if I wanted to play a game while having a bittorrent app open at the same time it might be better, but I never do that.
With speeds like this...
And the auto-updating and totally configurable safepeer add-on, I'm all set.

I used Azureus also and it has more features then utorrent and plugins, but it's a ressource hawk and really dont miss anything from Azureaus which isn't in utorrent, but I guess it's a matter of taste.

i use Azureus and my cpu usage on average rarely ever gets above 8% i've seen it spike to 14% but only with multiple torrents active. with the new 2.5.0.0 update im seeing much better network management just recently i hit 300kbs! WOW! Dont know about the rest of us but for me its an all time high. oh and about playing games while torrenting(?) if the game being played is on another drive should there be any problems?

Well azureus uses a bunch of ram, so if you want to play while torrenting, you need a 1 gig machine min. and also the cpu gotta to handle the trafic from the network to the harddisks, so there will for sure be a FPS hit, but how much is all about how fast your system is and how good your hdd controller is
