Microsoft ActiveSync 4.2
Download: Fileforum
Download Mirror: Microsoft
_______________
Microsoft ActiveSync is the latest sync software release for Windows Mobile-based devices. It provides a great synchronization experience with Windows®-based PCs and Microsoft Outlook right out of the box. ActiveSync acts as the gateway between your Windows-based PC and Windows Mobile-based device, enabling the transfer of Outlook information, Office documents, pictures, music, videos and applications to and from your device. In addition to synchronizing with a desktop PC, it can synchronize directly with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 so that you can keep your e-mail, calendar data, tasks and contact information updated wirelessly when you’re away from your PC.

Still beta, according to the MS website (and my company's QA ... in the sector we're in we definitely would know).

Sometimes FileForum releases things just a little too early ... perhaps they did it again!

I'm very aware that is very much possible.
But so far this does appear to be more stable (@ time of this post) with 4.2.
I had random lockups with the pda i have under 4.1.I had to disconnect from the cradle to reactivate the synchronisation of the device.
But time will tell if the 4.2 does improve this problem i have.

Aha, they did beat them. It's on Microsoft's site now.
