DH review: Revoltec LightFX and LightWriter fans
Read the review here
_____________________
There are tens of companies making thousands of computer fans today. There are simple fans, powerful fans, colored fans, lighted fans, aluminum fans ... the list never ends. We could also say that there is nothing really innovative anymore in this market sector. Revoltec however, a German based company specialising in "modding" products recently released something entirely different; cooling fans which can project whole images and text on their fins. Sounds pretty cool? well how about if we told you that the fans can even read the temperature of the air moving through them and project the information direct to their fins!

I like the lightwriter.. that's cool..
In the review- it says "click to play" the videos, but I cannot click them. The cursor stays normal and clicks do not register.. on the pics for instance I get the "hand" indicating a click-able link..
IE6 SP2, etc..
Could you put a separate link up for the videos?

QT works here.
nifty little fans...but yea...I'd guess with all that rotational weight added they are kinda loud for the effectiveness

Oh yeah.. I am using QT alternative.. which works everywhere else with embedded vids.
-maybe you need the real QT for it to work? I hate that damn program and the stupid thing that always tries to start with windows and sit in your taskbar so I don't use it.. Same with real player. ack..
I downloaded and watched the vids fine though.. VERY cool! I have to get a 80mm lightwriter for the side of my case.

Hello bstef9950,
I doubt that big time. I could only find them in Europe and still not in most countries yet.
