Adaptec 29320-R Ultra320 SCSI Interface Card

Just recently, ClubOC showed you the capabilities of Seagate's Cheetah 10K.6 Ultra320 SCSI Hard Drive. Now it is time to show you the card we used in testing. If you have seen the review, you'll know that we made use of Adaptec's new 29320-R single channel SCSI card. The Cheetah 10.K6 performed very well, but there is a lot more to the interface card than what we just showed you in the review. The 29320-R not only has Ultra320 capabilities, it also supports Ultra160, Ultra2, Ultra Wide, UltraSCSI, and SCSI-2. The 29320-R is also a RAID card with RAID 0 and 1 support. As you can see, this is a very universal card that any SCSI user could fall in love with. Being that I'm a "born again" SCSI user myself, I'd like to take some time and show you what this card is made of.
