GeForce 7950GX2 is the official name of NVIDIA’s retail version of GeForce 7900GX2; the dual-GPU card that has been used by PC builders to create Quad SLI configurations. We’ve had this name confirmed by an anonymous source where the final launch date also has been revealed. NVIDIA has decided to launch its GeForce 7950GX2 cards on May 30 after having decided between a number of dates in May. The reason for the delay of the retail version of NVIDIA’s dual-GPU card wasn’t revealed but there seems to have been some technical difficulties.
