Toshiba today introduced its first Satellite laptops which incorporate Intel’s Core Duo and Core Solo processors. The new Satellite M100 series is available now at a starting configuration price of $1,034.
The Toshiba Satellite M100 series, the company said, sports a 14.1” WXGA display and has a starting weight of 5.2 pounds. Besides the new integrated Intel processors other features, depending upon the configuration, can include a choice of CD-RW/DVD-ROM or DVD SuperMulti Double Layer drive, 40GB to 120GB of hard drive space, 256MB to 2048MB of memory, a 5-in-1 media card reader and a media player which lets users play DVDs or CDs without booting into Windows.
