Basically, when a bios includes CPU Code/Microcode it is to update the bios to allow it to recognize newer CPUs, features of said CPUs, or make changes to correct issues that might have cropped up with certain ones. In particular they will add support for CPUs that were released after the board/bios version was released as long as the board supports the use of them.
Most times, if all the bios update does it make changes to the code/microcode then you really don't need to update the bios. There is mention of the RAID support being set to "disabled by default" from "enabled by default", but that is a minor change. As the saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. So, if you board works fine, and you have no issues, then there really is no need to update.
