Works just fine for me. I've never had trouble with my system. Don't know if I'm getting all I can out of them, but with my system, it doesn't really matter yet. They sure are cheaper.

Error checking takes time, so non-ECC is quicker, but a lot of boards change to slower memory latency timings to accomodate the additional ram if all four slots are full.

Mine did, but I set them back and had no problem, been running it for a couple months without trouble, is there anything I should be looking for?
