BEST dual core processor no price restrictions
what is the BEST AMD dual core processor? i dont care about price-my teacher wants to know the best

I'd say it's the Opteron 180 version of the X2 4800+. Added comfort knowing you've got the fastest and most strenously tested dual-core on the market.

The opteron 180 is definitely the best dual core atm. Even if its the same as the X2 4800 it uses less voltage  New, faster models are on the way though.

FX's are single cores aren't they?
AFAIK the Opteron 180 or the X2 4800+ are best...
That or four dual core opterons on a quad CPU mobo
