Modem Driver problems

OK so I have a USR 5699B modem installed in my computer. I was running the "USRobotics 56k Faxmodem Win 1807" driver. I downloaded control center and updated it to the new and now it reads as "US Robotics v.92 Fax Win Int" after I updated it. So all is fine and dandy until I try to play CSS. Before this my ping would hover around 200-220.... And When I got on I was horrified to see my ping as 380-400. It was EVEN MORE SO unplayable! So I think its ok ill just roll back my drivers. So I try but it wouldnt let me. "USRobotics 56k Faxmodem Win 1807" wasent on the list when i go to "let me select it myself", only that evil driver that I already have on it. So I google for my lost driver and from what I see it seems to be the generic USR driver. After I installed the new one it made my old one disappear! I need help. Where can I get the "USRobotics 56k Faxmodem Win 1807" driver?

PS: Dont tell me to get DSL, Cable, or something else. It doesnt reach out here.
