Asus A8N-SLI - Ethernet Issue

I have built a SLI system using this MB. Everything works great but the on-board ethernet and was wondering if anyone would know what the issue is. Asus and my ISP are lost here. My ISP said try a ethernet card.

Ok, here is the deal. The network adapter will not pick up an ISP address with my router. Router is a TRENDnet TW100-S4W1CA. If I use the router to try to connect to the Internet, it’s like its dead. However, if I plug the network adapter directly into my DSL modem, works like a charm. Picks up an IP and goes on. Put it back on the router and it’s dead. It cannot find an IP. Actually, it cannot find the router itself. I have two more of these routers and it's the same thing. It cannot detect the router and/or IP.

Does anyone know what might be the issue here? Asus and my ISP have had me try renew the IP and all kinds of stuff. Even staticing the IP with the router does not work. Only thing thing I can think of is that the on-board network adapter does not work with these routers.
