Single sided, the ram only has chips on one side, (uses up 1 BANK)
put 2 or 4 of these in a 4 slot setup / or 2 slot setup and the board will see the ram @ full speed

Double sided , the ram only has chips on one side (uses up 2 banks)
put 2 of in a 4 slot setup, or 1 of these in the 2 slot setup and the board will see the ram @ full speed
4 of these in a 4 slot setup / or 2 in a 2 slot setup and the board will see the ram @ 333 speed and T2 lessed timeings... Will couse severe peformance loss

yes... weather you have 2 slots or 4 on your motherboard plays a role as well.... its simple but complicated

Consider it each ram slot has 2 banks, sigle sided only uses 1, double uses 2
When the banks are full, the boards force everything into a slower MHZ and timeings

So with a two sloted board

1 single sided, 1 double sided= fine
2 single sided = fine
2 double sided= Problem = compatablity mode / slower timeigs forced

With a board with 4 slots should look more like this
to many combinations but this is the biggie

4 double sided = Problem = compatablity mode / slower timeings forced
4 single sided = fine
