Ok, I got my new memory and it's failing Prime95 It's settings are 2-3-2-5 ... exactly what do those numbers correspond to in the BIOS? ex. trcd, tras, trp etc etc.
First try setting the BIOS memory option to Auto/SPD to let the board detect the standard settings for the RAM modules. That is usually the easiest way to ensure stability. If you on the other hand want to know the specs for each individual RAM module you can try CPU-Z wich can read the SPD information of most modules.
I had that problem too. My mem is 2-3-2-6. I set it to 2-3-2-6 and it wouldn't run. Guess what? AN7's BIOS had the timings swpped: I had to set them as 2-2-3-6. I know they were swapped in BIOS and in the memory's rating because I checked with Everest.
