Asus A8V Deluxe Question

I have checked the manual and the Asus website and cant find an answer. My question is how much power consumption and current draw can the cpu fan header handle. i ask this because I wanna know if a 120mm Panaflow fan with a current draw of 0.45 Amp and power consumption of 4.08 watt will fry the header???? Anyone know?

If the fan has a motherboard fan connector, I think it should work fine
What makes you think something bad will happen?

Some of the guys over at the AMD forums were suggesting the posibility of it cooking the fan header because of the pwer draw. So far it has been working great but I dont want to chance burning out the header.

No it went in perfect. No problems at all.
Yeah this thing is a beast.
Before with my Zalman.

After with just the XP-120

With the XP-120 and a Panaflow 120mm fan

Did you note any difference in temperatures between the two?

Oh absolutely. With the Zalman I would idle at 45-47C and load would hit 50-52C. Now I idle at 39C-40C and load hasent broken 44C. For load temps I played Half-Life2 for a few hours and ran Prime95 overnite.
