Price Gouging Heaven: MSI NF4 SLI = $325!!!
http://www.monarchcomputer.com/Merch...gory_Code=NA_2
I've easily spent a couple thousand dollars with Monarch Computers in the past, but this blatant attempt to rip off their loyal (albeit impaitent) customers, makes my blood boil. They'll be hard pressed to ever see another of my dimes again.....I was so peeved I had to write 'em a note.
Quote:
How in the bloody hell can you gouge prices like this:
http://www.monarchcomputer.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=M&Product_Code= 110257
and expect to retain any sense of credibility with your customer base?
That board is slated to retail at or near $200!!! You are offering it for $325 dollars? Are you joking? I've found Monarch to be a reputable company in the past, and have purchased many components from Monarch, but I am here to tell you that based upon this latest effort to price gouge your loyal customers that I will never again buy from, or recommend your company to anyone.
To hell with Monarch Computers and good riddance!!! (no reply needed)

A bit extreme? Perhaps, but shouldn't they hear this feedback from their customers?

That's a bit much for an SLI board. But that's supply and demand for ya.

the AT7-MAX2 when it was FIRST avilable.. i bought 2 for 351 each after tax.... and i had though i had spent a crapload then...
2-3 months after that, i had some costumers wanting the same board.... checked into it to find out they were selling for nearly 500 each.... obviously i didn't buy any.....
and recently, i already told you the price.. but really, it's VERY much worth the price... sitting here with 2 of them, working fine, still running the latest and greatest at very excellent speeds.... although i've them both upgraded to the max.... (3000+ speeds although running a 2500+ barton and a 2600+ thoroughbred @ 166FSB.... )
