Scanner Problem!

I have a Vuego Scanner 310p, i install the latest driver for it which is Mirascan 3.42, it installs fine and asks me to add the scanner, the port t uses is "Auto" although it's connected to LPT1, the printer is connected to it through its back (SCSI connection i think).

The problem is that there's no software to scan with, and even Microsoft Imagining program doesn't detect it, i remember that i once had a shortcut in the start menu which allowed me to scan, but this appeared when i installed the driver normally like i did this time, the only difference is that there's no shotcut for a program to use this time! please help, thanks.
