Motherboard bios upgrade

Hi, I have an AX45-V from AOpen and the bios version I have (1.05) was released back in 2002. Should I upgrade to the most recent version (1.10)? It's not recommended to upgrade is you are not experiencing problem, but its my version is more than 2 years old, would I get better performance for my ATI 9800 pro and old Northwood 1.6GHz processor?

If it was me I would try the new bios, because you can always put the old one back on.

just be carefull, don't cut corners or anything.. be thorough, read the directions multiple times before proceeding and even print them out...

make sure you've got EVERYTHING you need to flash, and to reflash

System Specs

If they give you the option between running a Windows flasher or a pure DOS boot disk flash, go with the boot disk for better safety.
