MSI NEO2 Platinum and PC3200+ ddr ram

im having trouble getting 2 sticks of 256MB Geil ultra dual channel memory to run on my motherboard the specs for the mother can be found here
i have set the DRAM timings on my motherboard bios to auto but everytime i attempt to boot up the system beeps and keeps beeping. the timings on the ram are 2-6-3-3

Have you install the D-Braket? It might help a little.

I had similar problem. Try reset the bios and reseat the ram but this time use one stick, set the same setting that you did 2-6-3-3. Check the cpu setting as well make sure you set it up right. Save , exit and power off, put the second ram in as dual then turn on the comp. Cross your figure :P

If the beep sounds like a siren high/low tone : the cpu is overheat, make sure that the heatsink is installed proberly

computer loads up now but im getting random reboots

I know a few people mentioned that mobo is pretty picky when it comes to memory ie. it isn't compatible with all brands. not sure if that's the reason for ur problems...

problem seems fixed now it seems one of the 4 pin connectors that was connected to one of my fans was causing the shorting (one of the pins came loose and slid out halfway). I would like to thank everyone for helping.
