nForce Patch explanation

lately ive heard many rumors claims:
"its fake"
"its trick or a joke that does something to the sensors"
"its just wpcrset and its FAKE!"
"its just wpcrset but THE HAND OF GOD IT CAUSE LESS 5-10C temps"

I didnt wanted to expose it because probably someone will steal it but ill post it anyway.

almost every system utility has "loader" for example:
SpeedFan (giveio.sys)
S2KCTL (UNI_DEVICE.sys)
CpuIdle (CpuIdle.sys)

most of the loaders are hidden or binded with the main program or with the installer. the loaders get I/O from the northbridge/southbridge or change values on the fly.

our patch is based on the WPCRSET source (offered and requested by one of our members and the permission and source who have the connection and ropes. your invited to visit our website and you will figure it out by your own)
WPCRSET is basicly the loader. its modify on the fly the northbridge and change registers/settings (BIG LIST) on windows bootup.

if you remember George Breese and his patchs (VIA Bank interleave enabler,PCI Latency fix) so our patch works in the same way. but you dont see people flaming him do you ? rofl
its based on the same idea.

the main code/instructions is in the .inf file (The Magic!)
now one of our members did amazing research on the S2K Bus
heres few parts from the report:

C0 mode is full operation
C1 is using HLT/STOP commands to initiate S2K bus disconnection
C2 is FULL S2K bus disconnection mode

now the nForce2 northbridge has these options but most of the updated BIOS has no option to choose between the idle state the cpu will use or just use the basic HLT/STOP command (S2K Bus Disconnection)

in the report we also had fat detailed tech report on the NF2 northbridge/southbridge and we figured if we will change that S2K bus register its will allow the CPU to use the full S2K bus disconnection and gain less CPU temperature. and thats results in lower idle and EVEN load temperatures by a small difference

as far as i know there is no performance loss or stability issues or RISK

to make it simple it means:
everytime you booting up the loader getting the correct instruction from the settings in the registry and modify the NF2 settings to use C2 state without HLT detection.

this is not fake patch or a joke.

thanks to that full detailed report there is good chances to expect "AMD CPU multiplier software based UNLOCK patch" in the upcoming weeks
first ill have put few ads because hosting is not that cheap... and then we will start to flood you up with hot patches/tools

now wheres the applause ? lol

works for me my temps are 5 degrees lower i tested with a raytemp laser temp gauge so it does work..........

Okay to dispell anyone thinking this is fake, I got out a laser thermometer(YAY FOR THINKGEEK.COM!!) and tested the temps of the base of the heatsink...now obviously this isnt the MOST accurate measurement but the temps were down by about 4 degrees celcius and acording to AsusProbe it is down by 6C

NGO is a relable source and I for one say that this is real and it works

so far i havent seen any problems but since I've only had it for about 5 hours, i cant be sure of it yet.

im looking forward to seeing a software unlock for the nf2 boards!!!! apparantly if u have a via board, it can be done easy, www.ocworkbench.com has the details on that... their is also a way to do it phisically by roaping around a small strand of wire around two wires, or modifiying the bottom of the socket.... which i care not to do eiather.

this will be great news. and those nay sayers about your work before is BS, they just are stupid and dont know what dissconnect and c1/c0/c2 etc are. and they obviously dont know if u asked permission or not.... which btw i KNOW u know all to much about. the general public generally dont understand and make out right RUDE posts, and often publicly humility their own selfs, this is sad that people say u were stealing something when they obviously didnt ask the creator of the code and went off with their big fat mouths. some people need to learn things.

ohh and i never responded in the last thread about my findings, well i have a weird board, and apparantly the temperature thing doesnt even work very good anyways gigabyte GA-7NNXP is the model number and because it has an addon voltage board. so the temps for me didnt change. its a problem with all temp sensing applications and loaders, we tried to detail the problems on the motherboard monitor forums, but still nothing was resolved. this doesnt help myself

tho its my boards fault and not the application which in theory i KNOW it works.

anyways i looked on your website and seen a new tweek just released.... well wtf does that thing do ? i dont want to tweek my modem settings cause that often has many problems, and i have a tool for my modem that does that, SO i dont want to run it until i know what its going to do for 1, and i want to have options to not tweek certain things dependent on WHAT it tweeks.

Windows XP Universal Tweaker is basicly add the "coolest" registry tweaks.
for example:IOPageLimit,SystemPages,DisablePagingExecu tive,TcpWindowSize
and more... it has nice and easy to use menu (Wizard)
we added both optimized and safe settings for example:
it wont tweak SystemPages to the maximum performance if you have ATI card due data corruption bug.
and using higher values on system with 32mb, the tweaker has main menu and just follow the instructions... basicly its great for newbies or after fresh XP installation (every time i had to readd all the tweaks again but not anymore) and unlike other tweakers it has no registry entries and you dont need to install it (just execute) and its very small in space (50kb)
since its based on batch there is no GUI but who needs it.. just choose how much RAM do you have prompt and which net connection prompt and let it apply all the tweaks (RAM,NTFS,Filesystem,TCPIP) and its will clean prefetch and temporary files directories:
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp
%SystemRoot%\Prefetch
%SystemRoot%\TEMO

and yea i hate Win32 GUI.. triples my work

DH TuneXP is very nice but its based on .NET framework and i dont have it installed

look on the Driverheaven mainpage.

its one of their downloads. IT FREAKIN ROCKS!

make sure to leave plenty of time for the boot defrag though...mine takes awhile but it gives you GREAT boot times.

anyway open it and install it...then open the help file and it'll take you through step by step on every setting(what it does and if you should do it or not)

its really easy and REALLY good.

use it.

now.

faster.

cant use it.. its require .NET framework and there is no way ill install framework..

Its the only file infected on the entire system. And no the scanner does not suck by any means.

i doubt it sucks...but I also doubt that its infected by any virus. I scanned it with mcafee(one of the best virus scanners out therE) all up to date and there was nothing. You must have picked it up elsewhere.
