Help!!ATA RAID or SATA 10,000 RPM???

Hi,

I'm thinking of getting another HD. I have a 80GB Maxtor and wondering if it's better to get another 80GB ATA Drive and do a RAID or just get a 36 GB SATA Raptor (10,000 RPM). Performance wise, which is faster?
Also, how much faster are HDs in RAID 0 mode?

Thanks

EDIT:Spelling

System Specs

I would go with the Raid setup. Benchmarks will double and the boost is definitely noticable.
Use raid once and you're hooked
