Sorry to interrupt you, customgamer, but I have a sneaky question. I wanna upgrade my rig below to A64 rig, but I don't want anyone I live with to know about it, yet. Trouble is, I have a windowed case, and my Abit NF7 has a BRIGHT red 5v light on the bottom right, and it's on always, as long as the mobo's connected to the PSU and the PSU is on. Everyone would know if I chaged the board. So are there any A64 boards, preferably Socket 939, that have a BRIGHT RED 5v light on the bottom right? One that's on even when the comp's off, as long as the PSU is on. Thanks a bunch.

Re: fanspeeds -- 3400 is near the lowest rated speed on it. Quoted from an email to AMD I sent right when I got mine.. "The fan speed for our retail box processors will vary from 3050 to 6000 RPMs". Given a 10% +/- cushion, whomever posted with concerns about it not slowing down from 3400 don't worry.
Re: red LED -- Wire one yourself!! Just use some non-conductive sticky stuff to attach it, make sure to put a cable or something nearby to sort of block it, and I bet no one will be the wiser BUT! the heatsink is a dead giveaway, unless you're going non-retail and even then the diff socket size/shape will probably raise an eyebrow?

The 3200's will usually clock the same as a 3500 and IIRC the A8N-SLI is a bit of a stinker. Better off with the DFI NF4 offering IMO.
