Asus Mobo P4s8x: Agp Problemo!
ok...lately i bought a Ati 9800SE AIW card and of course i softmoded it wit the cat 3.9 drivers...everythin worx ok but agp speed is at 4x...the problem is that when i turn it into 8x the pc freezes after a while showin just blank screen...nyways my mobo is ASUS P4S8X...it does support 8x and when i had my GF4 Ti4200 card i had it enabled...but now i just cant!! I looked at Bios and the option is at 8x...but the thing is that when i run powerstrip and check the "sis-to agp" option i see that the agp speed is enabled at 4x!! I try to change it via powerstrip into 8x but i cant...whereas when i change the gpu's settings via powerstrip i can change the agp speed...can any1 help? any advice is greatly appreciated..thnx.
