Ok,

Back in the day... My motherboard bios would allow the use of IO APIC...

I am now using a modded bios that enables me to overclock and use a couple of features that were locked out by ECS.


I use IO APIC for the more IRQs... BUT!

I seem to see that my computer does not overclock as well With this on... What would be the cause of this?

(this is a pain, because I would have to use two different installs of windows to Bench without IO APIC on. )

I dont know If I need the extra IRQs.... But do people normally?

:edit: I also have both serial ports dissabled

My system Info shows all 0-23 irqs being used....

Sharing only shows the agp bus and the ti 4200 on the sharing portion (as I assume they should)


If they are all used... would it be safe to say that I am using the IO APIC?
