1. Ok here ia a board for $85.00 USD Click Here
2. Boards are very easy to install. as long as you know how to use a screw driver and read you will be ok.
3. You don't have to. but i highly recomend doing it.
4. this board comes with onboard sound.
6. Yes, you can use all of your current hardware and have room to grow.
Hope that helps. good luck

whys that your the first person i heard say that. It's a intel based chipset. I would stay away from the sis based chipset im currenlty running the 648 chipset by SIS and it has some agp problems and im not the frist to say that.

sharkims (who has tons of money to test tons of mobos) has had TERRIBLE experiances with Abit P4 mobos. I have had TERRIBLE experiances with Abit AXP mobos.
Shakims like his P4C800 alot out of the tons of P4 mobos hes tried, so thats what one I would go with. He was getting real boards, not reviewers samples so his info is more reliable than a review site.
I wish he visited DH more to back me up.

Super FSB, you can be garanteed with an MSI board. The 865PE Neo2-FIS2R or the 875P Neo-FIS2R(which is actualy cheaper than most 875P boards). Can hit 300, I'm running both of those boards with 2.4c's @ 300fsb, 3.6ghz.
The P4C800-E Deluxe is also a VERY nice board. Not garanteed to overclock quite as high and ASUS has been having some problems with BIOS's lately. Boards dying as a result of a bios flash, in 'FINAL' release form.
The ABIT-IC7 MAX3 is an unfortunate way of suckering a consumer in. As it boasts some huge 3.2v VDIMM. It can not go above 2.8v without fluctuating dramaticaly. @2.9v you will see 2.7-3.1v fluctuations.

been away for a while sorry for the late reply
my motherbord is a sis chipset 651
it only suports x4 AGP
has only 2 dimm slots
i have a fast processor p4 2.53
fast video card FX5900 128
2700 512 ram
but my curent bench marks with the latest oficial nivida drivers are
2001-10500
2003-4800
aquamark03-34000
i have tried usuing different drivers like the omega drivers and the starstorm drivers but thease create lower benchmarks then the oficial drivers i think it must be my motherbord i dont see what else it could be
Thanks Hot

The IS7 ABIT boards really appeal to me. I'm interested to hear more. I've been quite happy with my ABIT purchases.
