Pissed I have had enough of Abit, I'm going DFI.

This is the 5th NF7-S rev2 mobo I have had die on me. I have never done any mods on them. (other than a temporary volt mod for testing purpuses)

I'm getting a DFI lanparty revB now. its reviews and specs look better than the NF7-S rev2, and it also phisicly looks better.

reviewers have gotten this thing past 230MHz, but does anyone here own one? Any thoughts on it?

well, considering none of my other mobos died, and it has no dust coming off of it if you use a air compressor I would say its abits fault.

I've been having a lot of problems with ABit. Their tech support and RMA departments are a joke.

I don't think the RMA department is a joke.... It's just that the employees can barely speak english. I've RMA two times, and never had a problem.

So for you two, ISOLATED PROBLEMS

My NF7 is awesome- I haven't got the hardware to push it yet- but I will soon.

Craig- what happened to the Mobo?

Also- you should post up your pics of the mobo you posted in the other sub forums and see if other peeps think it was dusty or not.

You need to see the pics we saw. Maybe it was the camera, but it looked pretty bad.

It would be isolated problems if I only had the problem once. But having their RMA department send you 3 DOA RMA returns in a row is uncalled for. Taking over a week to respond to tech support emails is uncalled for. I am not saying their products are not good. But these two departments need to straighten up before I ever use them again.
