Re: Duel cpu motherboards

I am having trouble trying to understand what you are saying here. You want a mobo with features like the P5Q-E but dual CPU? There are very few dual CPU overclocking boards and none of them will work with standard LGA775 clips like the Q9300.

I'm also having issues. I'm not trying to have a go, and I probably can't answer your question, but you'll get more help if you make your question clear and easy (e.g. reasonable level of punctuation and grammar, not all caps).

I know I'm not Lowfat, but do you need SLI or Crossfire and other enthusiast options? If so the only option to my knowledge is the Skulltrail board from Intel. You can then choose Xenon socket 771 processors at whatever clock speed you feel you can justify for cost.

However, it may interest you to know that the latest Intel Core i7 procesors have 8 logical cores (4 physical) and one of these would represent a much more cost effective solution if you don't really need 8 physical cores. I'd be very suprised if a core i7 @ 4ghz could be significantly outperformed by 8 2.33 ghz xenon cores at any task.

Dual slot i7 motherboards are doubtless on their way.
