my chipset is :
NVIDIA - nForce2 IGP - Rev. A2
i went to www.nvidia.com, and it doesn't have an option to download an nForce2 driver. i guess it's too old to update?

alright, i was just talking to my buddy on ventrilo, he said to just run the .exe, and not to worry about uninstalling any driver. i have no experience with updating Chipset drivers, what do you think?

Nforce Unified Remix 11.16 2K/XP and XP64
There was a lot of remixing at one time, either to retain components of older driver sets that were found to be better, or to pull in updated/beta components from other sets.
nForce 123/WinXP Chipset Drivers and Remixes - Guru3D.com Forums
More remixes
Maybe the main release is good enough without remixing now.

Agreed... the drivers you get from nVidia will work just fine for nForce 2 boards.
