Which motherboard?

Hi everyone.
I'm probably going to buy the QX9650 when it comes out in a few days, if it turns out to be around $1000 and no more.
I can't decide what MB to put it in though...
I am running some Corsair Dominator DDR2 1066Mhz. So I was thinking the MSI P35 Platinum?
I won't be likely to run SLI so I don't need 680i, and I won't be running DDR3 for a long time yet so don't want to go X38.
I'm also planning on OCing the processor to probably around 4Ghz, with the FSB up to maybe 1500 or 1600Mhz. So I need something that can happily handle that FSB without custom cooling (Antec 900 with all possible fans, and a Thermalright Ultra-120e on the proc, though), and that can assist me favorably with the processor OC.
Suggestions?

The QX9650 is already out, you can check here for the best price. Also there are X38 boards out that use DDR2 memory. From what you've described, a X38 board that uses DDR2 memory would be the way to go.

i never have the signature on for a while now, so i don't see the advertising in any sigs
but the posts that this member made should sure get some attention with all the color and bold letters in those messages posted.

i'm deciding to buy new mobo too...and i can't really decide which one to buy...bacause i don't watch the news and reviews anymore im in dilema...i've somehow decided that next one will be from asus, but i still don't know...does the x38 make difference? plus i'd like a mobo that's stable and good for oc. i managed to check P5K Premium/wifi and P5E. both are great...i'd prefer p5e, but it looks a bit cheap -> small number of connectors @ back, doesn't have esata...

and btw: it has to be for ddr2

just bought 4gb 1000mhz mushkin kit which i don't intend to trade

Will there be a high likelihood of a price drop on x38 mobos once the x48 comes out? (hopefully March?!). It'll be good timing as I can spend my tax refund on a new system!

Admittedly, a month ago I would have thought to get a P35 board - not this month or likely from now on. I was looking at the Asus P5K-E WiFi or the Gigabyte P35-DS4 for overall features and performance.

Changed my mind now, looking at the Gigabyte EX38-DS4 - reasons - dual PCI2.0 x16 Crossfire X compatable video card slots, upgraded onboard regulation (using DQ6-like 12 phase), dual lan ports, and it retains eSATA connectivity which the X38 Asus boards lack. Looks to be a better value for the long haul, and should be an above average overclockers board - just over $200.00 (US). It's the board I'd buy today.
