Right cod4 crashed and when i rebooted i got a long continous beeping and no POST. I pressed reset and it booted fine.

System Specs

Two things that comes to mind (if it was a continuous beep): 1) keyboard error, 2) motherboard error. The fact that they system shut down though makes me want to point the finger at the motherboard. However, a faulty USB keyboard can cause a short, and it's possible that it would reset the PC.

A few questions though: What kind of keyboard do you have? PS2, or USB? Is it a specialty keyboard, like the Logitech G15? You say it's happened 2 times now, was it twice recently, or was it spread out over a couple weeks?
