Audigy2 ZS PCI compatible with "M3A32-MVP Deluxe"?

Hi people,

This is the noobest question I've ever asked, but cannot seem to find an answer anywhere.

I am planning to upgrade to a "M3A32-MVP Deluxe" motherboard (with new DDR2 , Phenom CPU and GFX card), but I was wondering 2 things:

1) Will I be able to use my current Audigy2 ZS, and my PCI Wireless card (Netgear WPN311) with this mobo,

2) If I can use them, will they affect any OCing that I might do?

I have heard mixed views - some say that PCI is compatible with PCIe, some say it isn't.

Any replies will be much appreciated!!!

i would assume that if the new board you are looking at comes with enough PCI slots for whatever cards you need you will be fine.......i mean there really isn't that huge of a deal there however im not sure 100% what you are asking so i'll let some one else put in their two cents

To clear mix up with normal PCI and PCI-E they aren't compatible. If you look the slots you can see the difference is physical so if some one says they are he needs to take a look of the slots. Now I looked that mobo from asus web site and it looks like you will have only one normal PCI slot after you install PCI-E gfx card so you might want to look other board. There is the M3A32-MVP Deluxe/WiFi-AP board that might cost more but it has the wireless network card built in so you would not need the PCI card then.

Cheers for the info peeps - I mis-read the "Expansion Slots" part of the specifications for the motherboard. Quite embarrasing actually...

Cheers for the info!!!
