Asus A8N SLI chipset cooler

Like for many customers of this board, the chipset cooling fan failed after 6 months. It was always noisy and did not always spin even when new.

What would be a good replacement cooler? It needs to fit under a 7800GTX in the PCI-e 16x slot. Both manufacturers claim that their product will fit. I am looking at passive coolers for lower noise while keeping a low profile to fit under the video card.

So far the candidates are:
the Zalman ZM-NBF47 (Looks like it might be too tall)

and the thermalright HR-05-SLI (awkward angle on the installation)

Any recommendations?

System Specs

I wouldn't go passive with where the cooler is on your motherboard, especially since its under a hot graphics card.

You may consider the Thermalright NB1, I have one and it works fabulously for my machine Though the fan I got for it isn't so low noise, you may consider something other than the Delta fan.

However if you get good airflow under that area, the Zalman one should work fine, if its too tall you can always hacksaw it down a little
