EP-8RDA+ Won't Post

My sons computer crashed today. One of my sons was surfing the net when he got a BSOD. Windows said it was shutting down. Now when I try to boot their computer, the computer will start but then I here a loud-soft continual beeping sound. I'm kinda leaning toward the CPU burning up, but if anybody has any other ideas, please help me out. The motherboard is a NForce2 EP-8RDA+ and the CPU is a AMD Athlon (Socket A) with a Barton core (3000+).

One of the voltage regulators could of also taken a dump. Time for an upgrade either way.

that's weird, I just experienced the same problem with my EP-8RDA+
after a search i found that the VDD voltage was acting odd, turns out that a few capacitars blew up.
Right now the pc is working but at 1000 mhz instead of 2000 (better than nothing i guess)

/goes back to search for a 8rda+
