HP Procurve 24Port Switch
Ok, I've got an HP procurve 24 port switch and no console cable, grrr. My pings are high as the sky and I can't telnet into it as it's not configured with an IP address. Any way to get around this or do I need the console cable? Any help/ideas anyone can provide I'd appreciate as testing drivers on 200+ pings isn't real convenient....

Before you blame the switch outright, have you bypassed it with a direct connection to your modem to make sure that the issue doesn't reside with your ISP?

yeah previously I was on a simple 4 port d-link and my pings were in the 60's.
