It was an bad lightning storm here today, and I was away so i couldn't unplug my modem and stuff. Luckily the computers didn't take any damage, I have a APC protecting them. So tomorrow I'll have to pick up a new modem and was looking at the Alcatel Speedtouch 516 to power my ADSL 2+ connection. Is there anyone here that have any experience with this particular model, good, bad etc?

My uncle has that one...as long as it browses pr0n at high speeds he doesn't care. He's using it on a 3Mbit connection (1.2Mb up/3 down)...and it works for his purposes.
