Dual Monitor Problem - 2 Dell 2005FPW

I'm having some issues getting my desktop extended to my second monitor. Only cloning seems to be working with the latest Omega drivers (3.8.205). I'm fairly certain it has nothing to do with the drivers, but more with getting the second monitor recognized by Win2k. When I try to extend the desktop through the ATI CP (Display -> Extend Desktop), nothing happens. Nor do I see the extra display options under the "Display" tab under the advanced settings.

I pretty sure this has to do with the OS or drivers not seeing the second monitor. I just don't know what to do about it. I tried the latest ATI drivers (used Mod tool) and the IBM support drivers without any luck too. Normally I should see 2 monitors under the display settings ( (instead of (Multiple Monitors) on ....).

Please help.

Here is my sys info, config, and screenshots.
IBM r50P
ATI FIRE GL T2 Adapter
2 DELL 2005FPW Monitors (DVI / RGB cables ran to miniDock station)
Windows 2000 SP4
Omega 3.8.205 Drivers

Similar problem with DVI monitor

I am having similar issues with extending to a DVI monitor. I am using an IBM Thinkpad T42 (XP SP2) with the Mobility Radeon 9600/9700. I have uninstalled/reinstalled drivers and used Driver Cleaner. I have downloaded the latest Windows/ IBM/ATI updates and have obtained most recent drivers. I tried another docking station with a similar setup that works with another laptop, but had no success. The only difference I see (compared to this user) is that my FPD is inactive in the Display Property\displays tab. I am able to get a "signal out of range" to the DVI only when I run IBM's Presentation Director.
One thing I noticed in my Display Properties is the Omega tabs do not appear for the second display. Is this correct?
At one time I was able to set up a dual display with VGA monitor and the laptop screen, but not since I've tried configuring the DVI monitor. Any ideas would be gratly appreciated.

Thanks
