??? Simple ATI Mobility 9000 question...

My apologies if this has already been asked.

I have a Dell D600 w/ Mobility 9000 card and I just replaced the XGA panel with an remanufactured SXGA panel.

I booted PC, but Windows doesn't detect any different monitor and consequently I have only 1024 X 768 as maximum res. option.

Do I need to install a different driver to get higher resolutions of the SXGA?

Thanks,
Steve.

I updated to A16 bios. No change.
I am returning the LCD screen as I think it was an XGA instead of an SXGA.

Thanks,
