Quake 4 playing real slow

Hello, I got a laptop with AMD Sempron 3000+, 512 Mb ram, ATi Radeon X200 128mb, 40 Gb HDD, DVD Burner it's a Compaq HP laptop with the model name M2302EA(SF). When I'm playing Doom 3 I get around 20-40 fps with the latest DNA Drivers, However with Quake 4 I only get 1-2 fps and the graphic is really messed up, I've tried with the drivers that came with my laptop dvd, tried their latest drivers, tried omegas latest drivers and now I'm using DNA's without success. I've already tried to download the latest ATi drivers for normal PC's and modding them with mobility drivers but when I'm going to install them it says that my graphics card are not compatible even though I modded the drivers, even installing the drivers manually doesn't work. Have anyone got the same problem? All other games work just perfectly on it but not Quake 4 please help me.
