igp 320m + omega = video problem

hi there

I have a quite old notebook (Compaq Evo N1005v) which hast a radeon IGP 320m aka Mobility U1. Lately I installed the newest omega-drivers instead of the standard compaq-driver. But after that, every time I watch a video the system is freezing and doesn't even react to CTRL+ALT+DEL. It's because of the omega-drivers, because when I reinstalled the standard-drivers it worked again.

Can I somehow fix that problem?

Disable overlay options in your player ( BS, Media, etc.,) That should work. I had the same problem. A discussion already exists about this, you should search the forums a bit...
