Hi all; this is my first post
First off all i will start by apologiesing for my bad english, im from DK u see!
Im thinking about buying an Ibm thinkpad t42, with at radeon 9600-64mb gf; but since it should be used for graphic work only; i hope it can be modded to a firegl t2-64! If not, i will have to buy a sucky t40P with at 9000 firegl instead.
I have been reading about softmodding the normal Ati Radeon -> Ati FireGL; As far as i have read there is no preformance diffrence betwen af "home made firegl" card an a bought firegl card?
This is the guide i have been able too find so far;

So far soo good, but there seem too be ONE problem, the guide dosent work with mobility cards! - I have been reading about the MobilityMod and Pajet's tool, here om your page; if i understand it correct, this tools enable me too use ordinarry radeon drivers on a mobility card is that correct?
Now the big question, will it enable me to use the softmoded drivers on a mobility radeon 9600 card, making it a fire gl t2-64 card?
If soo witch driver will be the best too hack, uptoodate? and is the approach the best, way too doo the job?
If not, is there any other way, or is mobility - > fire gl impossible?
*praying*
Best regards
Dennis
