LCD or Omega Drivers?

Hello,

I have a question regarding an issue with my LCD that I just noticed. On some 2D games the graphics tend to dim when scrolling the screen. It's hard to explain. In games like Sacred, Diablo, and even in NES emulated games whenever the screen scrolls in any direction the graphics will look slightly darker until I stop movement. Can anyone explain this? I've had this Inspiron 9100 for about a year now. I just never really noticed it until someone pointed it out recently. Any way I can fix this? I'm not sure if it's a setting in Omega's set or an issue I've always had and just never noticed. The only setting I tried tweaking was Vertical Sync, but it seems to still be noticable.

System:

Inspiron 9100
P4 3.0
512 ddr
ATI MR 9700 128 mb
Sigmatel Audio Card
Toshiba 60 gig 5200 rpm drive
XP SP 2
Latest Omegas
No virus
No spyware
all drivers up to date

System Specs

what is the specs of youre lcd?

after reading what you said it would seem to me as though the is a lag on the lcd...if so the is probably nothing you can do.Possibly the screen can not keep up with the refresh rate.

Is this the same with v-sync enabled.

Aspect ratio?
Responce time? etc.

But have you noticed this from different drivers.
