5.7 is so nice
but theres 3 different drivers and each is differnt, trying to get my perfect set it hard, heres the breakdown
5.7 offical drivers -
Drivers cause the screen to flicker when opening and make device connect/disconnect sounds when closed and opened respectivly
5.7 mobility drivers
drivers cause 3-4 second lag on opening the screen and cause the CP to not work well, needs to be used with CCC
Dell 6/21 drivers
good drivers, no beeping, flickering or lag, but the CP has few options (missing smartgart and a few other nice-ities)
Ive tried using 5.7 CP with dell and the dells beat them down to the dell CP anyway

What to do?!

Can i make the cp and drivers mes better?

More specs would help. I do not have any issues with 5.7s on my Inspiron 8600 with mobility modder/CP (the one in signature).

i have almost the same laptop, (different ram) but maybe its how im installing? how do you install them, i use the uninstall, reboot to VGA, driver clean it, reboot to VGA, install via install utility, including CP, and then reboot to normal
do you install the CP at the same time, ive gotten different results installing that after, or installing the drivers using "new hardware found" wizard
