Omega, DNA driver affect performance?
sorry if this question sounds dumb. But when I used the Cat 5.4 w/ Patje's mod. I realized that the desktop screen picture's color resolution has degraded noticeably. So, my question is, while I want to gain 1680x1050 support by installing either Omega or Cat+Patje's mod (which doesn't support 1680x1050, fyi). Will I be suffering any kind of performance degradation?
Please advise a newbie here. |

They can, and usually do. The change is rarely for the bad and varies from user to user, try em' out and see which ones perform better for you.
