Omega's PowerPlay Default Settings => PowerPlay Disabled?
I'm using Omega drivers 2.5.90 on an ATI Mobility 9000 card. Here are the default settings of PowerPlay:
They're set to High Performance when on battery.
Does this mean that with these default settings, the graphics card will NOT run in power saving mode even if the PowerPlay checkbox is checked? That is, checking the PowerPlay box is irrelevant if the settings are set to Default?

Go to PowerPlay tab in Omega's graphics driver program and click on the "PowerPlay Settings" button on the bottom. As I remember the official ATI driver does NOT have this button (only a checkbox to enable powerplay).

It seems like powerplay will not kick it. If you want it to, move it to the left.

Yeah, it's what I thought because window's does not adjust/increase battery remaining time with these settings.
It's not a bug but kind of a poor GUI design both because with the PowerPlay check box check and these settings, powerplay doesn't take effect and because these settings are called "Default"

You need to be using a (mobility) card that supports PowerPlay.
