prob with Radeon 9000 mobility

Hi,

I have a prob with my garphic card in my Notebook. I installed the latest omega driver 2.6.05a. after a reboot i can only use 1600 x 1200 resolution. A lower resolution makes the picture smaller ----> no fullscreen. Itīs 2 - 4 cm black on each side. Lord of the rings, battle on middleearth starts very small wit black on each side too. reboot, unistall, reinstall and so on doesnīt work. Before Omega 2.6.05a I used an older version and it worked. But now installing an older Omege doesnīt work.

Can anybody help???

Thimosch

P.S.: Please excuse my bad english

System Specs

make sure you have scaling in your bios setup. Also you might want to check what the standard resolution is on that screen from the manufacture and download a 3rd party app to add that resolution in.

Your laptop should have a key which allows you to make it either full-screen or the normal size. Try FN+F8 or something.

Did you use DriverCleaner?

What should your resolution be? 1680x1050? Drivers should have scaling options for the flat panel in the settings, so make sure it's enabled.

Also, if it detects the panel as a "Default Monitor" this may cause issues as well, you may need to change it to something that resembles the panel most closely or potentially get a driver from the manufacturer which will support all resolutions.
