First time here.

Am having problems upgrading the driver for my Lenovo T60 laptop. ATI website doesn't support Lenovo, Lenovo won't help.

I followed the instructions for mobility modder carefully and everything seemed to go according to the instructions, but after rebooting, there is no ATI Catalyst Control Center on my computer.

At first I didn't remove the existing ATI Display Driver and Catalyst Control Center, then found instructions suggesting I do that on the MobilityDotNet site. I removed those, purchased Driver Cleaner, and cleaned up both the ATI driver and the CCC, then attempted to re-download the drivers from the ATI site. This time it wouldn't let me choose the 8.12 version for winXP, so I tried version 8.11.

I cancelled the ATI installation after the driver was extracted and rebooted, but ... no driver.

What am I doing wrong?

My computer is a Lenovo T60 Laptop (Core 2 CPU T5500 @1.66 ghz) running Windows XP Professional 2002 SP3. I have the ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 graphics card.
