Acer and ATI issues Help!!!

I have an acer aspire 5600 and my video no longer works. Only flash videos will play but all other videos have just sound. I can't seem to update my drivers because every time I try it gives me a different error. I heard that ATI and Intel often have issues and wasn't sure if this was a common error with an easy fix or something completely different. Please Help, Thanks

I Forgot to mention I'm running ATI mobility radeon with mobile intel 945GM express chipset family
